Factors That Make Some Laws Discriminate Against Women

In society, we need laws to protect our rights, to make our society peace and harmony because people in society think and act differently. Some people think that we have to respect each other in order to live peacefully together, while some people believe that they have power, they have a lot of money so they can do any things as they like, they do not care about other rights, and they only care about themselves. Now we have law to protect and punish but why there still are crimes, rape cases, human trafficking cases, arguments in society? She is not allowed to do this, not allowed to do that. Even nowadays women’s rights are promoted by government, media, civil society, but old women and rural women do not totally support gender equality yet. In such situation women still face that pressure. This article criticizes to Cambodian young women who place diamond on their tooth; make their teeth look like rabbit teeth, and wear anklet….. I think there is nothing wrong with these make up. I have two reasons for this matter. One is women right in gender equality society and another one is globalization age. (more…)

In reality, the distinctions are not absolute, and there are many kinds of ICTs that move from one to the other. The important point is that ICTs carry different meanings and value in different contexts, and impact upon societies significantly in different ways.
